Greg Isom has a longstanding history and commitment to providing guidance, inspiration, and support to youth; specifically, from minority and underserved populations. He volunteered as a mentor, head coach, and ultimately as President with the San Francisco Police Activities League Youth Football Program for 30 years. His decades of tireless support and leadership have been lauded and recognized with high honors: awarded Coach of the Year in the Pop Warner Jr. Football Conference; issued a Proclamation from the City and County of San Francisco for years of service and dedication to youth; runner up for Community Volunteer of the Year by the San Francisco 49ers; and ultimately was inducted into the SF PAL Hall of Fame during their 60th Anniversary Gala.
As an avid scratch golfer, Greg has competed in many top amateur golf tournaments and is currently Regional Director of Hackers Unlimited Golf Club. Greg’s vision for UBAGA to help bridge the gap for underserved minority golfers who desire the opportunity of competing at the high school and collegiate level. Having retired after 37 years with the United States Postal Service, Greg now serves as President of Hydrating for Life, LLC. |
